Taufkirchen, Germany, 23 October 2020 – HENSOLDT is one of the top 10 most family-friendly companies in Germany within the electrical/electronics sector in 2020. The award recognises the compatibility of family and career, a good work-life balance, feel-good factors and equal career opportunities with employers.
Last year, HENSOLDT already set up parent-child offices at its sites in Taufkirchen and Ulm. The offices each consist of a study and a room that serves as a play or rest room for employee children. With the establishment of the parent-child offices, HENSOLDT is setting an example as a family-friendly company that enables and promotes the compatibility of family and career. In this way, HENSOLDT enables its employees to bring their children to work and supervise them themselves if the usual care is unexpectedly unavailable at short notice but their presence in the company is required.
The use of the premises is generally open to all employees with children up to the age of 14. Following the success of the parent-child offices in Ulm and Taufkirchen, HENSOLDT will be opening a further parent-child office at the Immenstaad site on Lake Constance this year.
