  • Principal FPGA Design Engineer Engineering

    The Principal FPGA Engineer is responsible for the decomposition of top level system or product requirements into an implementable FPGA architecture. The Principal Engineer is responsible for FPGA developments from preliminary specification to verified design running on the target hardware.

    The Principal Engineer provides expert knowledge of electronic design, test and certification of systems based around advanced FPGAs.

    The Principal Engineer will also, in conjunction with the FPGA Engineering Manager, provide coaching, leadership and guidance to other Design Engineers. 

  • Senior FPGA Design Engineers Engineering

    An opportunity for a Senior FPGA Engineer, to be responsible for the whole or an assigned portion of a design from preliminary specification through to verified firmware. The Senior FPGA Engineer provides expert knowledge of firmware design, test and verification.

  • Principal Embedded Software Engineer Engineering

    The Principal Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the decomposition of top-level system or product requirements into an implementable software architecture.

    The Principal Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for software developments from preliminary specification to verified design running on the target hardware.

    The Principal Embedded Software Engineer provides expert knowledge of software design, test and certification.  The Principal Embedded Software Engineer will also, in conjunction with the Software Engineering Manager, provide coaching, leadership and guidance to other Design Engineers. 

  • Software Engineers Security Solutions

    The Security Solutions business produces integrated security solutions to critical national infrastructure and militaries all around the world. Using a variety of in-house sensors from the HENSOLDT group of companies, trusted partners, and externally sourced sensors and software modules.

    The Software Engineer will be responsible for the improvements to, and maintenance of, the integrated C2 application that links up all the sensors to create the heart of the solution. The design and update of the GUI, the addition of new features, and the interfaces to existing and new sensors will all be within the Software Engineers’ area of responsibility.

  • Principal Systems Engineer Security Solutions

    The Security Solutions business produces integrated security solutions to Critical National infrastructure, Border Forces, and Militaries all around the world. Using a variety of in-house sensors, from the HENSOLDT group of companies, trusted partners, and externally sourced sensors and software modules, together with the in-house command and control system. The Principal Systems Engineer will be responsible for the integration of sensors and subsystems across the entire lifecycle, from bids to delivery.

    The Principal Systems Engineer will run the Systems Engineering department across multiple sites and will be a mentor to the other Systems Engineers reporting to them. As part of this, the Principal Systems Engineer will liaise with multiple departments and entities within the HENSOLDT group to define future developments and their interfaces, as well as being the face of HENSOLDT Engineering in front of customers.

    As part of a growing business, the role offers the unique opportunity to increase the team size and select additional team members in both the UK and Germany.

    Generation of technical bids, designing networked multi-sensor systems, defining hardware and software changes, and delivering a suite of equipment to be installed are all part of the Principal Systems Engineer’s responsibility. The Principal Systems Engineer will have the responsibility of ensuring the technical maturity of the design, which will include reviewing all information produced by the Systems Engineering team and providing guidance and checks to ensure the system operates and is compliant with internal or external customer requirements.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in handling complex engineering projects and running a team of systems engineers. They will be focused on delivering projects on time and to specification and have a track record of doing so.

  • Systems Engineer Security Solutions

    The Security Solutions business produces integrated security solutions to Critical National Infrastructure, Border Forces, and Militaries all around the world. Using a variety of in-house sensors, from the HENSOLDT group of companies, trusted partners, and externally sourced sensors and software modules, together with the in-house command and control system. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the integration of sensors and subsystems across the entire lifecycle, from bids to delivery.

    The Systems Engineer will liaise with multiple departments and entities within the HENSOLDT group, and external suppliers, to define systems and their interfaces, working with other departments within the company to ensure integration of multiple sensors into a solution, and working with software teams to define the functionality required.

    Generation of technical bids, designing networked multi-sensor systems, defining hardware and software changes, and delivering a suite of equipment to be installed are all part of the Systems Engineer’s responsibility. The Systems Engineer will ensure that the delivered system is compliant with internal or external customer requirements.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in handling complex engineering projects using a variety of sensors as inputs, defining the network interconnections and the appropriate systems to meet the customer requirements, and signing off the requirements against the final system design. They will be focused on delivering projects on time and to specification and have a track record of doing so. They should also be familiar with all aspects of the systems engineering lifecycle and be capable of demonstrating that capability.

  • Trials & Training Engineer Security Solutions

    A Trials Engineer is required within the Security Solutions business to assist with the development and delivery of company and customer-funded security projects based upon HENSOLDT UK and HENSOLDT radar and optronics technology. Activities will include Bid Support, Demonstration of the system to interested parties/customers in the UK and overseas, and system integration. Additional responsibilities will include Setting up customer equipment in the installation location and feeding back any issues noted during trials and customer demonstrations to the development team.

    Applicants are required to be flexible in their approach to work, as every project and support issue presents different challenges. Applicants must also possess an aptitude for problem-solving and have an eye for detail.

    The Trials Engineer is expected to show motivation and initiative in planning their own activities to achieve timely and effective results with little supervision.  As this is a customer-facing role, a confident manner and smart appearance are required, with the ability to communicate clearly within the company at all levels and with customers whose first language may not be English.

  • Assistant Management Accountant Finance

    An Assistant Management Accountant is required within the Finance department to help with Data Analytics,  Financial Accounting, and Reporting.

  • IT Systems Support Engineer IT

    A Systems Support Engineer is required to Screen, refer and diagnose internal issues and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems. Resolve 1st and 2nd line helpdesk problems and answer queries by telephone in support of internal and external connected PC’s, applications software, and basic network communications.  May prepare help desk incident reports and assist in hardware and software evaluation.

    To assist the senior IT Systems Administrator in supporting the IT Infrastructure Including Email system and data storage solutions, servers and network communications. Working alongside the Senior IT Systems Administrator loading OS and configuring computers for staff.

  • IFS Support IT

    The ideal candidate will have a proven background in IFS development. There will provide second line support of IFS technical issues and work on a number of IFS development projects

    The candidate must be able to manage and prioritise business requests, manage those requests through the IFS support channels or through internal development processes.

    Knowledge of various IFS applications, including but not limited to the distribution, finance, service management and project management modules of IFS.
