Senior System Engineers
A Senior Systems Engineer is required within the Surveillance Systems business to develop and deliver Company and Customer Funded systems projects based upon Kelvin Hughes’ state of the art radar technology. Activities will include all aspects of the Systems Engineering lifecycle from System Concept through to Delivery and Acceptance, including Bid Support, System Design and System Integration.
A Systems Engineer is required within the Surveillance Systems business to develop and deliver Company and Customer Funded systems projects based upon HENSOLDT UK’ state of the art radar technology. Activities will include all aspects of the Systems Engineering lifecycle from System Concept through to Delivery and Acceptance, including Bid Support, System Design and System Integration.
Applicants are required to be flexible in their approach to work, as every project and support issue presents different challenges. Applicants must also possess an aptitude for problem solving and have an eye for detail.
Surveillance Field Systems Engineer
You will be responsible for Commissioning, Harbour Acceptance and Sea Acceptance test for HENSOLDT UK SBS (Shored Based Systems), Naval and Security Systems. Service interventions, Pre-installation ship surveys, and site surveys. Trials and testing activities, technical liaison with Sales team/customers. Completing Service reports.
UK Campaign Support Manager
This, evolving, role is key to the Hensoldt UK strategy of leveraging the sales of the Hensoldt Group product portfolio through Hensoldt UK into the UK. The Job Holder will have an understanding of the UK MoD Defence Procurement Procedures such that bids and proposals meet the requirements of these processes and therefore that Hensoldt is as a credible supplier.
Commercial Bid Manager
The Bid Manager will be responsible for submitting a completed bid to customers on time and within budget. Ensuring that all the customer’s questions have been answered as fully as possible. They will require a broad range of interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, and be assertive yet tactful in motivating other members of a bid team to produce a successful submission. Time management, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision are all-important, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure, and be able to read and interpret instructions carefully. The role will encompass the provision of guidance, assistance, technical (contractual & regulatory) and commercial inputs and negotiation support, in respect to all aspects of the operations of the HENSOLDT Group, across all locations. Must be an excellent communicator.
Reporting into the Head of HENSOLDT UK Bid Team, the Bid Manager will have a primary responsibility for providing bid, commercial knowledge and support, acumen and advisory service across all departments within the business
The role of the Commercial Bid Team is to support the achievement of the bid’s financial/strategic objectives, to ensure compliance with ethical and contractual undertakings and to ensure the commercial integrity of commitments being made on behalf of HENSOLT.
The post holder will need to be flexible enough to visit other sites, including other HENSOLDT sites, customers and suppliers, both in the UK and internationally, if required.
Trade Controls Compliance Lead
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of, and practical experience in, the administration and application of international and national trade controls, including UK/EU/D and US control regimes.
The position will focus on the dissemination of trade controls awareness, throughout HENSOLDT UK and its subsidiaries; the development and maintenance of appropriate procedures, to facilitate full compliance and regular monitoring and auditing of transactions to verify compliance.
The candidate will be required to interact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and to maintain a detailed understanding of the control regimes, and the changes that are introduced, such that they can guide the necessary changes to Kelvin Hughes’ activities, to give effect to such changes.
The ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels is an essential requirement.
The job holder will be the “go to” person for any employee with any trade controls compliance issues or concerns, who will proactively arrange and deliver appropriate staff training and refresher awareness programmes, undertaking periodic and “ad hoc” auditing and review to monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. In the event of issues being identified, the job holder will recommend appropriate measures to address required remediation and actions required to prevent re-occurrence and to work with the operational management to ensure effective implementation.
The security solutions business produces integrated security solutions to Critical National infrastructure and Militaries all around the world. Using a variety of in house sensors, from the Hensoldt group of companies, trusted partners, and externally sourced sensors and software modules. The software Engineer will be responsible for the improvements to, and maintenance of the integrated C2 application that links up all the sensors to create the heart of the solution. The design and update of the GUI, the addition of new features, and the interfaces to existing and new sensors will all be within the software engineers’ area of responsibility.
Senior Systems Engineer
The security solutions business produces integrated security solutions to Critical National infrastructure and Militaries all around the world. Using a variety of in house sensors, from the Hensoldt group of companies, trusted partners, and externally sourced sensors and software modules. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the integration of sensors and subsystems across the entire lifecycle, from bids to delivery and even post delivery support.
The Systems engineer will liaise with multiple departments and entities within the Hensoldt group, as well as being the face of Hensoldt Engineering in front of customers.
Generation of technical bids, designing networked multi-sensor systems, defining hardware and software changes and delivering a suite equipment to be installed are all part of the systems engineers responsibility.
